They’re fine so far because they’re really subtle, and they’re things that only obsessed LOST fans would catch because we’re looking for them. If the number 815 showed up somewhere, or if something had to happen in 108 minutes, or if a character yelled, “Don’t tell me what I can’t do!”, THEN they’d be going a bit too far.

Don’t get too caught up on looking only for LOST refereneces in episodes of Alcatraz. Enjoy the show & see if you can find other obscure references. As an example, in the scene where Lucy is being loaded into the ambulance, the vehicle directly behind Diego & Rebecca is a 1967 Mustang fastback, This is the same car driven by Steve McQueen in the S.F. based movie Bullit. Steve McQueen also starred in another move based in S.F.: Escape from Alcatraz.

Thank you so much for your comment! You have a very good point Joe!!! We will look for more reflections to other things in Alcatraz! 🙂 ~ Ms. Wright
